The Family

Susan and Ginio Ferrari moved to Lancashire in 1984 to open their first and highly acclaimed restaurant - Ferrari's of Great Eccleston. Eleven years later, they opened Ferrari's Country House Hotel in Longridge, near the city of Preston.

Together with their children, Luisa, Annamaria, Suzy and Tino, they offer a superb family welcome to their latest establishment - Ferrari's Country House.

The House

Ferrari's Country House is situated in the tranquillity of the beautiful Ribble Valley, a mile and a half outside Longridge on Chipping Lane. The family acquired Ferrari's Country House in July 1995, and in a short period have transformed this excellent property into one of the most popular and acclaimed restaurant, hotel and wedding venues in North West England.

Blackmoss House as it was called was originally built by the Earl of Derby about 1830 as a shooting lodge and was part of Derby Estates until the late 1970's. Set in 4.5 acres of mature walled gardens the hotel and restaurant have been extensively refurbished.
